Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Process
What is Powder Coating?
Free flowing dry powder paint which is statically charged through the use of a spray gun is applied to the metals surface. It sticks and coats the metal and is then heated to an elevated temperature to enable the powder to MELT and AFFIX the metal, this is called the CURING PROCESS.
Why is it better than conventional paint?
It creates a hard finish that is so much more
- RESISTANT TO SCRATCHING
- RESISTANT TO CHIPPING
- RESISTANT TO COLOUR FADING
than conventional paint.
